A is for All In

In this fun challenge, you'll listen to our story read by one of our leaders—can you guess which one? Close your eyes, listen carefully, and use your best detective skills to match the voice to the reader. Is it the voice of your own leader or someone else in disguise?

Good luck, and thanks for playing! Every submission will be added to our Sunday AM drawings as we continue to celebrate being All In!

A is for All In… it’s where we begin. All In’s a gigantic, humongous sized plan- but if anyone can do it, BCC can.

B is for building, it’s where we all meet. Something special’s happening and, that's pretty neat.

C is for community—what’s at our core, It’s in our name, and it means so much more. Community means people—our neighbors and friends, And loving them is where our story begins. Blount County is growing- and that’s not new- but the growing is happening at our church, too.

D is for dream—it's big and it’s grand. We'll dig in the ground and build on our land.

E is for everyone…yes, it’s true.

F is for family- this means yours too!

G is for giving, to help this plan grow, God’s called us to give, if you did not know. Because building more space will take a whole lot—our builders and workers will hit the spot.

H is for hard work, as we all lend a hand. We’ll build something special, for our future that’s planned.

I is for imagine the future we’ll create, a space full of love where we’ll all celebrate.

J is for joy, as our dreams take flight. We’ll see our new space come together just right.

K is for kids- like all of you- some of the most important people at BCC- it’s true.

L is for love- we Love People and Love God. (Yeah, that was backwards, it sounds a bit odd.) No worries though friends, it’s what we already do. But to love better and better, we have to try something new.

M is for money, to build strong and tall, For walls, beams, and metal, we’ll need it all. Bulldozers, screws, and materials so grand, help us build a space that's carefully planned.

N is for not. Not? That’s weird. But this building is not just for the people here (even though we’re running out of room, that’s pretty clear.)

O is for others- that’s who this is for. This part’s so important, so here’s more- . Others is anyone that is not you- and a bigger building means space for what God’s called us to do- like small groups, and worship, and serving, it’s true.

P is for parties our church likes to play. And hosting parties in our building – that’s a great way! Like Easter Jam, Trunk or Treat, and Family Game Night…celebrating what God is doing is right.

Q is for questions- “Why do we need more space? Our building is great- we love this place!”

Well, R is for a reason, and ours is great, because it’s a fantastic reason to celebrate. To start, we think God has called us to grow. Our building right now, it’s just half, did you know?

S is for space- and here’s a surprise- our classrooms and big church need a larger size. No worries, friends, we’re not moving far—our new building will be right here in our yard. We’ll show you the plans, a blueprint’s in sight. (Yes, we’ll have to knock down some walls, but that’s all right.)

T is for time, who knows how long construction takes. We’re all working hard, it’s a faith step we’ll take.

U is for us, we’re All In as a team, building God’s church, fulfilling our dream.

V is for vision, where our future begins. We’re following Jesus, so yeah we’re All In.

W is for working, but with lots of fun—when we’re All In together, the job’s as good as done!

We’re ending this rhyme with X, Y, and Z— Now that we’re done, we hope you can see, what being All In means to you and to me. Let’s all grow together at BCC.
